Well, actually everyone. Everyone who's mining crypto and wants to increase the overall profitability of their mining rigs with minimal effort.
Will I benefit using WhenToMine if I have 100% fixed electric cost?
Yes, because WhenToMine doesn't only look at electric prices. Our app calculates the estimated mining rewards by looking at the current value of the crypto and your estimated mining reward based on the current block difficulty of the coin. Also, don't forget the automatic coin switching.
What about the coin switching?
Yeah what about it? It's one our most powerful features helping our users automatically switch to the most profitable coin without effort.
Missing something?
What is required to use WhenToMine?
For coin switching you need nothing at all, to control running hours of your rig you need a SwitchBot and a IFTTT account (free for 2 rigs) and 2,5€ per month for more than that. And that's it!
Why not just rust a simple timer at night?
A time scheduler can turn your rig on&off on a pre-set time of the day, but history shows that electric prices vary more from day-to-day than intraday meaning that the nightly electric cost of a high-cost day, is generally higher than the daily electric cost of a low-cost day. So... If mining is profitable during the day, why would you want to turn the rig off. Also, electric cost is only one parameter determining the mining profitability, current mining rewards based on current block difficulty and current coin value is another.
